It has been said that the mark of the True Vacation is that you don't want to leave when all is said and done. Right now, I understand that phrase more keenly than I ever have before. I checked in for my return flight a couple minutes ago and considered seriously, if only for a moment, rescheduling a taking a later flight. But better sense kicked in: That wouldn't be fair to my gracious hostess who has remained patient and understanding in lieu of my very tourist leanings and quickly forming blisters.

I only regret not arriving sooner.

My time in New York has been perfect. Perfect company, perfect weather, perfect everything. This trip has been a great aid in self-reflection and I believe I am starting to clearly see what it is I should be "going for" as an adult. I don't know what I want to do, but I know why it is I should be doing it.

h'okay, so. I am taking a quick vacation this Friday for 5 days and because of this, I am dirt poor broke. Broke as in "Oh god how am I paying bills in a week?" As such, I am offering two things to interested parties:

1) I am willing to work for anyone for some extra cash on Wednesday or Thursday. Do you have any cleaning that needs done? Do you need some help organizing your garage or stamp collection? Is your computer on the fritz and want a certified tech to look at it? Be creative people, cause I need your money and fast; I'm not afraid to work for it!

2) I am selling off some stuff. Really, anything I own except the computer is on the chopping block. Want some RPG books? Considering getting into Airsoft and need a gun? How about a 6x4-foot poster of the original FFT cover art?

I have never won achieved any individual sporting accolades in my life. That ended today. Silver medal at the Hoosier Open Jiu-jitsu competition, my first competition ever. I am exhausted but I will have pictures tomorrow, I hope.

My friday wasn't so hot, so I post this because it cheered me up a bit:

I just got the new G9 Logitech mouse. It seriously is the best mouse I've ever gentle caressed a desk with. It has this Microgear thing that releases the scroll wheel, so if you spin it, it will just continue spinning and scrolling; It doesn't click and stops when you stop it or when it runs out of momentum. Not to mention the mouse continues the traditions of the G5...So good.

So as it turns out, my new Serta 4-Inch memory foam mattress topper is the most comfortable thing in the world to sleep on.
